New headlight (never ride stock headlights on anything, it can always be better and safer with an upgrade) and new cooler weather gloves. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c9195126fe.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bbeddb163e.jpg

Heck yes! Nice bike. The SV650 has long been a bike I desired. This bike has the same motor I believe.

Yes same motor just tuned a bit different. I ride for fun only and never commute because i work close to home and wear all my gear anyways so I would have to get ready 4 times a day since I wear office attire. I have been riding the heck out of this thing in the last 3 weeks. Sold my drz400sm since I didn't ride it much. Still have a CBR 1000RR for when I want to really blow off steam and this one to relax on.

How would you rate the new one vs. the dsm400?

Not a comparison. They do diff things. Kind of like if someone asked to rate my suv vs my sports car. I just wasn't using my drz for what it was for so I got rid of. I recommend both.

Nice bike Jackalo!!

Picked up a cheap media blasting gun for soda blasting, a new Xbox controller that has bluetooth for use with my Steamlink and iPad once IOS 13 hits next week, and a Nikon SPUR reflex optic.

LOL I own a few MS products. What can I say, they make the best controllers, and the button layout is so ingrained into me at this point changing would be a PITA.

iOS 13 is getting controller support?

Who doesn't own Microsoft products? Most of us at least own Windows PCs. :ror:

Agreed. They make the absolute best controllers. They are durable too. Rarely did they break on the first spike...back when I had anger issues with Call of Duty. :lmao:

^^LMAO! Yeah, it's getting what's known as mfi controller linking which has native support for both Xbox and PS4 controllers. It's available for iPhone now, and iPadOS 13 hits on the 24th. There are still some good games on the App store, Apple Arcade is about to launch any day, and if you have Steam you can stream your games also.

And with that, Verizon finally offered me enough of a discount that I picked up an iPad mini 5. And in typical Verizon fashion (and all big telcos for that matter), they completely screwed up the overnight delivery which I only paid extra for as you have to sign for the item. So I called, and the nice lady gave me another $180 off of it and refunded the extra shipping charge. I picked up a case and tempered glass screen protector too.

Very cool I have the iOS 13 beta on my iPad. I'm glad to see they're bringing more Android (the superior OS IMO) features over.

$180 off for a mistake...I'd take that deal any day.

It was $180 on top of the $150 they already gave me. I ended up snagging it for $200.
