I just bought the Compact 9mm. Those FDEs are really nice looking. Wish the Compact came in that color. I love my M&Ps!

Who makes the range bag? I have the midsize bag from Midway USA and it's already a little small for me. But any larger and I'd be afraid of how much weight I could put in it.

Rage bag is a Gunmate pistol bag. One large area in the middle, two small outer zippered areas that have soft lined pistol sleeves in them. They had them on sale on prime day one day this week. Kinda small honestly, but for just a couple pistols and ammo for a range trip it's fine.

EDIT: Still on sale.

Same here. Had the compact came in the FDE I would have had that one (watch, they’ll release one next week..)

Krylon is cheap, and can make any gun any color at any time. Plus, with time, you get that sweet battle worn finish that manufacturers charge silly amounts of money for. Seriously though, I doubt I'd do a whole handgun, frame only maybe, but it works great on ARs. If you get tired of it, just hose it all down in brake clean and brush it off and start over.

Looks smaller than the bag I have, but for $21 I'd grab one in a heart beat if I didn't have one!

I do need a case for my AR build. I'm leaning towards the one from Palmetto. It's always on sale and looks pretty useful. Plus, they can be had with 7 Magpul magazines for basically the price of the magazines.

If you're going with a soft bag, I'd get a double case personally. I have one that came with my Sig, has my Sig 16", my PSA 8.5" .300, and my PSA 8.5" 5.56 upper and tons of mags, targets and other shit in it too.

That's the idea! Lasted almost 10 minutes in the yard before I sheared a drag link rod end lol.

So here's an interesting problem, and something of a moral dilemma.

I have what could be considered nearly a phobia about running out of things. I can't stand to be out of ketchup, coffee, ranch dressing, clean underwear or electronic RC components. Having just installed my remaining Hobbywing 1080 ESC, and although I don't even have another project in the mail and have a perfectly good AE-5 and a Sidewinder 3 on hand, I ordered two more HW's. Yes, I like them that much, and could just imagine (shudder) getting that BOM or Origin and finding these out of stock at Amazon.

But today, this is what showed up:

Hmm...one of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong...or does it?

I checked my invoice, definitely ordered, and paid for, two 1080's. So now what I do? Can I use the 150? Hell, yes...maybe even in the next build. But here's the rub...had I ordered a $100 part and received a $40 one I wouldn't hesitate to contact them about the error for a swap or refund. So since I ordered a $40 part and received a $100 one, should I feel or act any differently? Maybe they just ran out of stock and subbed the higher value item?

Decisions, decisions.....

The rest of my stuff came today. Another Harris S-LM 9-13" bipod, S Loc, some MI HD recessed swivels, an Athlon sun shade for the Talos BTR, and the scope I've been waiting on for a month.

Direct from HK, Online ship or Ebay?? Either way id contact them but that's me. I know what's right and i know mistakes happen so i expect the same. I let them decide and that decision also weighs on future purchases for me.
