I just looked back and it would have been check number 111 drawn on a Grand Mountain Bank account.

I just fear the idea of my check getting into the wrong hands and giving someone access to my account number and routing number. I will consult with my bank on this.

stop payment on that check... if its been that long its probably in a landfill someplace or in a huge mess of stacked up junkmail.

Considering this place is all but abandoned by the owners it's just easier to bypass their lack of give-a-shit and use the automated paypal system to get a star.

The $20 check is not that big of a loss BUT to stop payment it will cost me $25.

It won't cost anything to close and reopen a checking account other that waiting 2 week for a new debit card...new checkbook.....changing several ebill payments....changing several passwords...a whole big pain in the butt.

I have no way of proving that I mailed it to you, and you have no way of proving weather you did or did not receive it so in the end I am screwed because I tried to make it easier for me to post pics and chose to do that by donating to your website.

lesson learned.

If it did get stacked with the junk mail or if it was carelessly tossed out I would really hope that you would revise your donation procedures to exclude hand written checks and add a phone number so that I could have gust called you with a CC number to donate to this fine website.
