Yes, and shoulder belts as well.

A fellow soldier stationed with me in El Paso back in '83, rolled his out in the desert, smashed the windshield and frame, said if he didn't have his seatbelt on, he'd have been more seriously injured. Shoulder belt was mounted directly to the rollbar.

I suppose it depends on the condition of the body. I pulled the mount for my seat belt out of the floor putting it on one day. A hard crash might have done the same thing.

Yeah... My CJ-5 had some rot issues...
