Question Trials Truck Cab Source & Questions

This is a question for some of the guys that have them and a tip for the guys that want one.

Went on to Bruder Toys website to see if I could buy just the cab and of course you can, and it is pretty cheap

http://bruderservice.com/02753.html

They have them in different colors for the different trucks and what not also.

My question is.......What pieces other then the cab and mirrors do you guys suggest I order along with it? Alot of the parts are not labeled when you click on them, I don't want to get a cab and mirrors and be missing something that would be important to have to finsih the look.

Didn't want to post this in tech because there is non, and figured this is as good a place as any.

Thanks guys

Josh Thiede

well, if the cab comes with everything pictured, then all you need is just that. otherwise you will need the "sunroof" and the mirrirs.

the cab comes in five main parts. they all snap together pretty tightly, so use a little care when taking it apart to paint/attach to a chassis or whatever else.

hope that helps

not going on anything that I have seen printed in writing, but by the look of the builds and knowing what the 1:1's look like, I am guessing around 1:12.

Unimog cabs are $3.34! No interior, but that can be built.

The unimog bed is 2.50

Try around 1:10-1:12...TLT axles would look rediculous under a 1/18 body.

Bruder items are 1:16 scale. the green unimog is quite small as the dimensions above prove. the reason they look good on tlt axles, is because they are big a$$ semi's in real life. The little green unimog is my favorite, just need to find axles that will fit it. VMG maybe?

yeah, the unimog is much smaller, i think you are right about using the VMG axles. the MAN and the MB Actros cabs are more 1/10 scale rc size.
