| Should i buy an Alfa Romeo?
I just was looking over craigslist again searching for a decent project car to start on.. an I came across a 1975 alfetta sedan 5spd. 5 spd trans in the rear like a new gtr. perfect interior. its only missing the front grill emblem... :( its up for sale for 750 obo! should I get it?????? |

A cheap European car is like a free boat. You'll end up sinking all your money into it and then get frustrated and sell it for a nickel on the dollar just to be rid of it.

alfa's can be a rot box only if you let it. welding is easy. por is your best friend. undercoating makes it look good. and im picking it up sunday |

im having a hard enough time finding replacement parts for a damn 2000 camaro. no way id want to try to find 1975 alfa parts in America. |

or in my garage with a nice high gloss black finish... with.. this is gonna hurt a purist but... a ford 2.3 lima that's stroked and poked. and a ranger rear end. or better yet.. a mercur x4i rear end.

haha. but it will be hard finding a t5 with a 4cyl shaft. that's the only problem. ill drive the alfa till the motor goes though. |

CAUTION!! Sounds like it could get expensive quick....good to look around on the Alfa forums to get an idea of value/demand, I just sold my super clean 1985 Nissan 720 4x4 ST, its been in the family since 86'.... Got this one on the block too: Honda Civic EG 92' Si . |
