Did you ever get the bad gas situation taken care of, I can't remember from the original thread.

We did, it was a sending unit in the gas tank and a weak fuel pump.

Got all caught up on this thread. Great trip it looked like. Love the story, places and the new friends you got to meet. For sure post the next trip adventures, I'll follow along. If you guys are taking suggestions I thought since I read Pennsylvania was one of your favorite places on the past trip I'd throw this out there.

Mill Run Pennsylvania, check out falling water house. Designed by Frank lloyd Wright. Its always been somewhere I wanted to check out there. Seems pretty cool and sits on a waterfall. Check it out online anyway.

I was there twice as a kid once with my parents and once on a school field trip, it is an amazing house I should go back someday it's been at least 33 years since I've been there.

Very nice Fish, wish it would have worked out that I could have that I pick them up in person.

What chassis is that? Your design?

Awesome!!!

Ok, time to do my close out for the trip.

Eagle Lake just out of Susanville Ca. on I-139.

Back into Oregon after 50 days.

Moving into potato country of Klamath Falls Oregon, the town we spent our final night on the road.

Recap...……….We traveled a total of 9779.5 miles. No wonder we were tired when we got home!
We visited 28 states, a few more than once! But we still have three states and the District of Columbia on our bucket list (North Dakota, Rhode Island and Delaware). Next trip.

We spent $3000.70, Marcia's guess of fuel costs before we left as $3000, I'd say she nailed that one!

We used 1039 gallons of gas, highest price we paid was Gault Ca $3.99.9. The lowest was in Bastrop Texas, $2.16.9, we averaged 9.4 MPG in the covered wagon.

We spent 19 nights with friends and family. 1 night in a motel, and 30 nights in RV parks.

We visited 3 National Parks, Lassen, Crater Lake and Death Valley.

Our trip was fairly trouble-free trip other than the door latch and some exciting weather!

We know that some of you had us in your prayers throughout the trip and for this we are very grateful! While in Florida, Justin and Kayla gave us a very cool gift to help guide us safely. It had stones and crystals that in their combination represent safe keeping, thanks guys.

In all our travels we met so many nice people, and felt that when we parted we had new friends and/or extended family members. We became new grandmas and grandpas and Mom and Dads. Thanks so much for the great hospitality to all!

These are some closing thoughts that Marcia posted in her travel blog.

Life is short-enjoy it!!!

Family is important-keep in touch with those who are part of your heritage!!!

Friends are special and become just like family if you let them!

Global Warming is for real!! LOL
Thanks to all of you who followed along. I Hope you enjoyed the journey. We are grateful for all of you!

Until our next trip....

God bless You all.

Marcia and Ernie

Thoroughly enjoyed riding along with you guys via this thread and Marcia's blog. As many times as you said it. We never got bored with your posts Ernie. We loved finally getting to meet the awesome and famous Codyboy family. You guys are amazing people and can't wait to see you again. Maybe our house will be on the next road trip map as well. We'd love to have you two over again. The girls sure had a great time running you in circles. Hope you guys have happy and safe travels for the holiday. Tell your son he's very lucky to have such great parents. The girls say hi and miss you to grampa Urnie and grandma Marcia

I went back and looked at my thread again, and somehow a big part of it has been deleted, Dang!!! Not sure why but maybe a Mod can help restore it????
