I wonder why they went with "Gladiator" instead of "Scrambler". I haven't read too much about it, so maybe there's a reason.

That ugly bastard isn't going to take any of the full size truck market share. It is a jk with a tiny bed and a long ass hanging passed the tires. It will suck as a truck and suck as a wheeler. At least ford knew when to cut their losses and end the explorer sport trac. Fiat apparently thinks they can make it better. Last edited by WHITE-TRASH; 11-29-2018 at 12:13 PM. |

It looks pretty bad as a truck and moderns Jeeps are unreliable POSes. I know of multiple Jeep owners and two of them went through 2 automatic transmissions. The frame welds are breaking on the 19 Wrangers. It never ends. While not the same, it looks better in this iteration IMO. Max Speed Technology-NEWS |

i second the horrible reliability of jerps. my wife's grand soccer jerp (now mine) went through 2 front suspension rebuilds and all its done is go up a curb at idle speed (i was parking in a tight spot) last rebuild they replaced one... ONE front shock. who does that?!?! now it rocks side to side fighting its own swaybar with different strength shocks. almost makes occupants sea-sick. avoid mission valley jeep of san diego at ALL COSTS. also the whole shifter debacle that killed Chekov... anyway back on topic... *WHUL... WHUL... BAAAAAARRRRRRRRFFFFFFFFFF* worst thing is these will be ALL OVER the malls here in san diego driven by over 40 moms trying to be cool. Last edited by Shinchu; 11-29-2018 at 02:53 PM. |

Yeah, wait 'till you see how those dirtbikes taco that tailgate. LOL And why I got a full-length bed so the back wheel is in the bed, not on the gate. 4-door shortbox pickups are a joke. Unless you're a poser. Alas...my dirtbiking days are over. I'm getting way too old. |

I'd rather have a proper 2dr with a usable bed.....that said, I wonder how long before I see a soccer mom get out of a fully loaded 4dr Rubi carrying a color matched purse......again. |

Does anybody really think these are going to become the vehicle of choice for soccer moms? The bags from Target would get all wet driving home in the rain and the turn from the ordering box to the pickup window at Starbucks is way too tight for that wheelbase. We all like to jest but sometimes you have to think practically. The 4 door Wrangler is still going to rule the parking lots and school car pool lanes everywhere. |
