Re: Mst cfx-w

Oh wow. I didn't event notice the axle to wheel mounting. I would thing those should be far superior to the GMade portals.

Re: Mst cfx-w

this chassis is very interesting and less expensive than SCX10 II 8)

I'm waiting for someone to buy it and give us result of his tests, before maybe order one "thumbsup"

But it's not the first good MST scale chassis, so I don't know why there is not ever a MST sub forum on rc crawler

yeah, it is mounted really high. reminds me of a HiLift with that mount.

those portals though "thumbsup" I'm really hoping those have the strength to hold up to that turning radius

I wouldn't say really high, but it could drop down a little, depends on axle to motor/tranny clearance at full suspension compression. Could make our own drop mounts and maybe rotate it a little at the same time for more clearance. :)

I hope this truck becomes popular it ticks all the boxs for me and would look great with some upgrades. It took forever for the ascender to get any aftermarket support still no bolt on sway bar kit though

I just ordered one, I'm extremely impressed with my current CMX so I have reason to believe this one will be quite good.

Not sure on the body yet, might do An F250 body with a honcho rear. Moncton is very much French Canada but also very different from Quebec. I'm French first language but fluently bilingual.

One comes with the motor and ESC and the other doesn't. I think that's the only difference.

I agree the motor is too high. 5 years ago this would have been awesome. These days it's too high. Still a cool truck though.

And I don't see MST ever getting their own sub forum unless their popularity increases.

Re: Mst cfx-w

Yes. I just built a CMX with an fj body. I love it so farWas going to buy another because of they way the fit tamiya bodies. Best cc01 alternative imo. Not a comp truck but bang for buck fun ratio it's worth it. Will wait for this!

Was it the WheelieKing that had a high mounted motor then relocate plates came out soon after?
