Hmm....noticed today while surfing for parts that the kits and RTR's have been bumped to June/July on Tower. Looks like the RTR's are marked for June and the kits in July. (as were my parts)

if it was just plastic parts on backorder, I could buy the mold issue. But it's also electronics, tires, and certain metal bits. Hex hubs for example... that's clearly a larger supply chain issue.

Yeah, I saw that too. Well I've got enough other rigs to build and pay attention to before I start building my SCX10.2 so... no rush for me.

Right, who wants a set of AR44 Axles....$500 please.
Who wants an SCX10-II that needs to be put back together and may or may not have all the parts it needs, that will be $1000.

I sent an email out to axial today, not expecting a real response, but we will see. I can wait on the kit, I'm in no hurry, but if this thing keeps getting pushed back, I'll look elsewhere for my rc needs. BTw soze you might not be out of line with your price, I saw one on eBay recently go for $600. Depends how desperate people are.

They did respond which I did expect.

Unfortunately we do not have any information about release dates. We are a
warranty and support center and do not have access stock. I apologize for any
inconveniences this has caused you

That was the email I got. Definitely impressed with the response time, but as I suspected no info. They only give an email address for support, so back to the waiting game. Sorry soze not paying 3x the cost of the kit.

Lancaster PA? Call trains and Lanes outside of Easton. I though I saw a scx10 II there last week. Could be wrong but its worth a phone call.

Funny, I've been wanting to get into this hobby for about 10 years after messing around with the old Nylint crawlers back in the day. Never really had the time or money, but finally picked up a Wraith 2 months ago after eyeing it for 3 or 4 years on and off. Guess my timing was pretty good. lol

Thanks man. I will give them a call tomorrow. I actually have to head that way in about a week and a half for Audi training. It would be a good score and I could pick it up on the way. I'm in Lancaster New York.

If you had access to the classified section, there was a sealed 10.2 kit for sale.
