I'm definitely not as hardcore, either. I've got a few road bikes, but this is what I ride on the local singletrack...

Started out as a Giant hybrid, then slapped some WTB 29er tires to soften the blows of the roots and ruts that are all over the trails around here. Need to get a conventional 26" hardtail MTB, though, because these trails are way too tight for the big-tired 29er.

So the fact that my Stinky cost more than the truck I drive is a bad thing

Here is a small drop I made in the back of my house. A few SHORT vids taken from a POS digi-cam. I need to make a better transition for the landing. And on the vid where you see me land, I came down a little to crooked and busted tha crap out of my rear derailer

It's fun to have little things in your yard when you don't want to pack everything up and go somewhere.

I guess I'm in the minority... I ride a road bike (i guess this is an offroad website though).

I ride an OLD Bianchi Alloro with all campy components.

I own a bike shop so I know this list is a little rediculous but its what I ride.

New Favorite
2007 Cannondale Rush Carbon Team
Seriously this bike is so amazing, it absolutely rocked at 24hrs of Moab and for the size and travel its LIGHT!

2007 Blur XC-I know I should sell it but I can't force myself to get rid of it
Full X.0/XTR
Fox F100RLC
Crossmax SL
Easton carbon bars, post, etc

2006 Maverick ML8
Its a trail bike so I didn't deck it out but its x.9 w/ a Duc fork

2007 Jamis Exile 29er Single Speed
Pretty much I just used the frame, wheels, and fork. Everything else is carbon, Avid Juicy Ultimates (Best Brake Period), King

Simon Custom Road frame with full campy record and Fulcrum Racing 1 wheels

Bikes that I will probably get this year
Felt Virtue-The best bike I rode at Interbike
Felt Z1 road bike w/record
Either a Titus El Guapo or a Santacruz Nomad-I don't know which but the Maverick is going to be replaced.

I carry Ironhorse in my shop, I'm probably going to pick up a Sunday this year too. I rode an Azure last year, great bike, DWlink might be the best suspension technology out there.

I still dream of going to Interbike. It's like SEMA for shop rats.

*Edit* I have grander dreams than of going to Interbike, but it made the list of things to do before I die. I'm lame, I know...

Interbike is fun but the on dirt demo is by far the best part. After you see that much carbon it all blends together.

Havnt been in the game for about 7 years now. After the moto-x accident I couldnt really do anything, then breaking my ankle at work and tearing my achilles tendon almost 3 years ago made it worse...had surgery so Im gettin back into it.

The old man was in the business for about 18 years. when I was younger I got to meet a few of the original mt bikers....Gary Fischer, Tom Ritchey, Ned Overand, got to ride with Julie fertado and Robin Williams at a Marin Cycles charity event....the good ole days

Yup interbike was a good time, probably the only time ill get to go to vegas...I didnt go this past year, I wasnt important enough I guess... but the year b4 was badass, o and dirt demo was cool too. Best thing about interbike is walking around and seeing all the pro riders and and new stuff coming out

speaking of Pro riders...who remember Brian Iarocci??? because he works here with me too...sick fawking rider...when he does ride, we have to drag his *** out
