Amen. Common sense seems to be severely lacking these days.

I’m just getting real tired of gov’t officials saying we need more laws after these things. That never happens when any other murder happens. I get it needs to look like they’re doing something...but do something meaningful.

There’s a pattern with these shooters, mental illness. Without knowing how or if they sought help, that profession is being hobbled in the name of budget cuts. Like this case, he should not have been walking free...he showed up with nothing but a jacket on..clearly he needs help.

The important distinction here is that it usually only comes up when it involves multiple victims.

Sometimes you have to do something simply for the sake of doing something, even if it's not the best something. If you do nothing for long enough, someone will do it for you, and you probably won't like it.

What the balls are is management told the NFLPA who owns the balls finally. The boycott was a failure, viewers were down 9% But $$$ were up.

They had to come up with a new rule to prevent players breaking a rule that didn't exist because of a few overly patriotic snowflakes with hurt feelings. So yeah, they folded.

Still, they're leaving it up to the team management to determine punishment, and they're allowing players to remain off field if they wish. It's a weak handed appeasement in an effort to protect their image.

The boycott failed because there was nothing to boycott.

I can appreciate what you are saying. This is truly an odd one. Pornography would appear to be an industry that mistreats women on a few levels and yet this woman is considered by many to be a leader in this new movement of women speaking out against our culture sexual harassment and abuse. I don’t know much of her background, but on the surface she wouldn’t appear to be what I would consider a role model for young woman.

I am not surprised to hear that Donald has a history of tangling with porn stars. He Doesn’t hide his appreciation for attractive woman. Standing up for something isn't being a snowflake.

Being patriotic doesn't make one a snowflake.

Flag desecration was illegal. Lawyers made it legal.

In most other countries, desecration of the flag will get you in legal trouble. Not here in the US where everybody gets a trophy and nobody gets punished.
