As for imposing more gun laws: How would you feel about paying a tax every time you wanted to voice your opinion, or worship your chosen deity, or be afforded a quick and speedy trial, or even avoid random searches? These are all fundamental rights of all of us. The 2nd amendment has been infringed upon too much. THAT'S the problem! No other amendment has been TAXED and even OUTLAWED.

You want proof that I'm righ... err, correct? Look at violent crime rates in Wyoming. Very few places that we can't carry. I've been known to be in schools with a 9, even. Nobody (teachers, principal, students, parents, etc.) cared though because they know people like me will be there to keep them safe. And no, I am not law enforcement affiliated in any way.

Seriously? There are more people jammed onto a freeway at rush hour in a large city than there are in the entire state of Wyoming. That alone is why you have low crime rates. Wyoming is literally the least populated state in the US.

Still. The town I live in now (pop. 1100) has relatively no crime rate compared to the metropolitan area I used to live in (pop. 4.5m), per capita or otherwise.

Densely populated, large cities have vastly different issues, and people behave in vastly different ways. Take the entire population of Wyoming and condense them into an area of about 100 sq miles or less and I guarantee that they won't be as polite as they are now. Where/how you carry a gun won't change that.

This is gonna sound weird...but I agree, but disagree. There definitely is a lack of education...but on guns, not in general. Any right minded gun owner knows that this stunt was stupid. But this shows a great lack of respect for firearms. It's just like that dumbass kid who killed himself on Instagram live trying to be cool playing with a gun. I shoot my Desert Eagle 50 a couple times a year, and it does not really kick all that hard. At least not my wrist, maybe my wallet at about $3 a pull for decent ammo.
