Come on, man. It's not soley tied to black power, but you know damn well it has been tied to that.

When a group cops, the overwhelming majority being black, get together to protest the fact that a black (actually half black, but even he forgets that at times) football player isn't getting a job, in their delusional opinion, simply because he's black how can you even suggest that there isn't racial connotations behind their raised fists?

Are we living in the Twilight Zone? That's really the only logical conclusion I have for this mess we live. I just saw a story about an Asian play by play announcer got pulled from UVA for his name. Robert Lee. Some people may be offended, waahhh.

ESPN even pulled the story. Too bad for them the Internet exists.

It may be but that facts are ESPN wanted him safe and no pot stirring.
That really screws up the story line though

From ESPN's perspective, the executives were trying to guard against Lee becoming a punchline, given that he shares a name with a Confederate general.
They foresaw memes and headlines "Robert Lee marches into Charlottesville." Moving Lee to a different game was seen as a way to support him.
