Hyper moderated and edited forums are absolutely ridiculous to me. I've ended up on traxxas forum when searching many times and I'm always amazed at how people stay around that safe space.

I'm curious too, considering it's a forum run by a company that has probably brought more new people into the hobby than Tamiya has and is moderated to be more family friendly than we are here, it shouldn't be hard to adjust to behaving in an appropriate manner for such a site as well as understand that there are a constant stream of new people that will have the same questions because they are, infact, new to the hobby.

It's a frustrating forum if you let it bother you. But it's full of kids lots of whom are new to RC and/or only know Castle and Traxxas.

traxxass forum

Some "advice" given gives me heartburn .
As I stated above kiddieland.
But the kids asking was non issue. The asshat "grown ups " however were the issue .I never had needed to block people on any forum until there.

Some great guys there, I learned from

There's bad advice on every forum. I chime in when I see it, offer as much proof as I can, and if the people choose not to listen to me then I let them learn the hard way. Sometimes that's the best way to learn.

There's something to be said about coming to this forum to complain about another.

Sounds like a Danish forum for RC stuff i just had to abandon in the end.

I feel much better here though the killing of some famous threads in the chit chat forum did make me worried for a bit.

maybe its cuz i am a bleeding heart liberal Dane, and in regard to verbal freedom we have it in spades, kids here will be F this and F that before kindergarden.

And boobs and what not we had all over the place since we freed porn in the mid 60ties, and even today its displayed in many stores just in the hight of little children's faces.

Newbs yell at me cause I'm concise. The Internet is… something special.

I like it, but rather it go away.

You may think you are concise, but your presentation is more curt. Once a person figures out you are not intentionally being a dick, your responses are easy to take for what they are and not read into them.

It is no surprise that someone new to the form hasn't got that yet.

No complaints..... it's made for kiddies and patient but stupid dads.

I have learned more here, participated more here, even got welcomed by you , and now love this place.

It's simple, this forum is for adult types that still play with expensive toy trucks , so I'm staying here and glad you participated in this thread !
