On owning a Bully 2…..

Hello,

First, I should state that I am basically new at this hobby and some might say I should keep my opinion to myself, but I just have to rant a little as this issue is just wrong in my opinion.
After doing some research, and seeing one operate, I decided to purchase a RC4WD Bully 2 last year. After this purchase, I somehow managed to acquire 3 others in varying running condition over a period of time.
Below is my opinion of the Bully 2:

Pro:
Dependable (see below on RTR electronics)
Fun to drive
Fun to modify (change shocks, ride height, etc.)
Well worth the purchase price
This would probably be my most used crawler if not for the parts problem below

Con:
RTR electronics glitches are very annoying after a while and hamper performance
PARTS CAN BE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN AT TIMES

I have been waiting for the gear set and front axles for eight months. I have emailed RC4WD 3 times now asking for approx. dates the parts will be in stock. I am told the parts will be available shortly, or the “date is unknown at this time”.

I currently own two Bully’s. One that is waiting for the axles and gear set, and the other one that is fully functional, but I am a little “afraid” to take it out as I might break it. This really has taken the fun out of running this crawler for me.

The Bully 2 is a great crawler in my opinion, but I do not understand why RC4WD is not pushing getting the parts in for their customers who paid good money for their product.

OK, rant over.

Sell all your bully parts... Buy a Berg Based rig and be done...
