HPI Venture thread?
 

Am I blind, or is there no Scale Rig HPI brand Venture thread here? All the other rigs seem to have their own thread? Why not the Venture? I'm looking to possibly buy one and would like some more info about it.

Not 100% sure anyone has one yet. I know I wanted one when I seen a video on YouTube last year. I think the mods will make updates as build thread start popping up.

They have landed in many shops on the west coast this week. They finally exist.

The HPI venture have been selling for a month if not more, at least from modelsports.co.uk
So there are already a few of them running here in Denmark.
And while i got POed on HPI and changed my order from the venture to the SCX 10 II i still dont get why there are no sub forum for the HPI, and not least several other cars.

Its like some models are on a no fly list or something.

We should take in anything just a little relevant as soon as possible i think, if we dont people will go elsewhere for information and feedback from dedicated users.

So there should now be.
A Gmade GOM sub forum
That new Carisma scaler forum
HPI venture sub forum
And probably more i cant think off right now.

Make the sub forums, and they will come.

When I got here I swear I seen a 1/5 scale sub-forum, but I don’t recall seeing too much posted in that section, I sold my HPI baja 5T to support the purchase of a Losi 5ive-T roller, that I still haven’t finished, not in the 2 years that I’ve owned it have I bought anything for it.

They're all over Facebook. And they look damn good. I'm still pissed at HPI for the delay and I don't trust that they will have parts available, but I want one...

I'm waiting for mine to arrive any day now - ordered/paid in May...


Now that the rigs are officially landing all over the world I'm sure the mods will add a subforum for it one of these days soon.

Was at the lbs twice this weekend and one of the employees there told me the venture was going off the shelf as soon as they showed up. One customer told me he's been after one at the lhs for a few weeks and has yet to get one. I told him if he pays for one up front they will put one aside for him when the show up. After that he talked to one of the employees there and next thing you know had one on order, lol.
