False comparison. It's way more complex than that. Plus, the Dems have been trying to get the military paid in instances like this, and the Reps always knock it down.


Either way, this is a failure of all parties. They've had a full year to settle the budget.

I realize that. They did get 5 Dems to vote for the bill. I just think it is funny that the "Turtle", the voice of the Republicans, is not on board with it. I understand why Paul and Graham voted "no". They are both fiscally conservative to the max.

In any case the buck stops with the guy in charge, funny enough the guy in charge was quite adamant.. previous to him being in charge, that the guy in charge is responsible.
