Not sure which is more impressive, the work to get all the plates on there or the fact a gym has that many 45lb plates.

Not impressive at all. At least for his knees locking them out like that. Darwin knee winner.

There's a vid out there of what happens if you actually lock your knee, it's gruesome.

Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves talks rib removal | Daily Mail Online

Now, I’m not smart enough to understand what’s truly wrong with this guy, but damn, do I feel bad for him. Shame on those plastic surgeons who continue to take his money.

Why? If I was a house painter, I'd paint your house whatever colors you please so long as you're paying the tab.

People blame the surgeon because personal responsibility is dead.

I'm not sure if this belongs in the cool, funny, or WTH thread.

This is one clueless, bug agile country boy on his cellphone. The addiction is strong because he doesn't miss a beat with his conversation.

Dude’s clearly gut issues. He had four ribs removed so his clothes fit better... He definitely needs to see a doctor, but not a plastic surgeon.

I don't know that painting a house is the same as an unneeded radical surgery, I have to agree with Noob on this one. A facelift is one thing, but this dude clearly has some mental heath issues, or a personality disorder.
I guess in the end it's a free country though.

He's completely oblivious to the world and I think his natural survival instincts took over.

When people don't want others to accept personal responsibilities "mental health" is blamed. It's bullshit. Not everything is because people are mental. I mean, when it comes down to it, we're all a little mental in our own way, but it shouldn't be used as an excuse for anything.

In the end, I think it comes down to whether the surgeons are violating any sort of medical ethics. I.e., are they doing any procedures that are potentially harmful short or long term. There is a point where a doctor should step in and say "no", that procedure is unnecessary and harmful.

I did say at the end its a free country..I hear ya though, and mostly agree, what about the personal responsibility of the doctor? does getting paid absolve one of resposibility?
Not an excuse but pretty clearly this fellow does have some issues, just a fact.

It's a free country. People should be able to do what they want. As long as the doctor performs the surgery safely who's to say it's not "right" to make him look like he wants? I mean you can have a doctor cut your ****ing dick off if you think you're a girl. That's as mentally ill as it gets, but it's deemed "normal" in this messed up country so...
