So, I just got off the phone with Axial and registration is tomorrow March 2nd. Not today as put out by one of the techs. And anybody wondering. They are keeping Hobbico as their distributor with no plans of using anyone else. Thier gonna ride it out and he said Hobbico is in fact looking for a new Owner/company to buy them out. But in fact no plans on changing distributors. I am sure alot of you know this, but thought I would share from the horses mouth. So to speak.

Ok. So Axial was wrong with thier own event. I just got my tickets. The link is on face book. I will get it and post it here. They are using eventbrite. Not eventzilla this year.

This is hearsay, so take it for what it is, but I have heard that you can run other company's rigs for an added fee. Plus, I do have an SCX10 that I would run, but would fee-up to run the TRX4 as well.

Honestly, I would like to go, no matter how you feel about Axial, hanging out and running with that many RC/crawler geeks is a blast.

I heard that too, but my buddy drove his stock TRX-4 through vendors row and they jumped on his ass and told him he couldnt drive it. They then came to our camp and griped at him and made us show our passes and wristbands. All the while, my TRX-4 with a 10.2 XJ body on it sat right beside them and was never noticed.

We were done running courses at the time and were just screwing around. After that we just drove them around at night.

I understand that it is a vendor-specific event, but that still silly.

Who knows, if HobbiCo does end up going TU, maybe next year Axialfest will go back to being the West Coast Nationals...

I have mixed feels about that. Its a "customer appreciation" event. It only seems right that you leave the other then Axial Rigs at home. I have 4 different manufactures crawlers. I like them all. But I get it..The tickets for the price arent bad. There are so many coupons in savings that you get that money back. Castle had like a 30% off coupon for any product. One of many. Just saying. If Vaterra, Redcat, Gmade had the same customer appreciation festival. I would leave my Axials at home. Just my opinion.

Any one that is going to axial fest is lucky. One day it's on my bucket list to attend this event. Who knows maybe when I do it will be a regular vacation for me, lol.

Axialfest is later this month. March was preregistration.

You can register at the event, you just don't get as good of a swag bag. I'm sitting this year out.
