According to your other thread you're burning up servos because you're not using the correct steering servo in the first place. You also stated in that thread that Savox has already sent you one replacement. How many replacement servos do you expect them to send you? Don't go bashing the manufacturer for your mistake! Friend's don't let friends run under-specced servos - you wouldn't run economy tires on a performance car and get mad when they explode do you?

My Savox let me down. But it did take 6 months and was submerged constantly lol lot of money but I've never found a perfect servo. Let's be honest for those of us who go underwater a lot it's a waiting game for when it will pack up!

Of my 5 Savox servos, the oldest is probably 4 years old at this point and still going strong. Couldn't tell you about the customer service because I have never needed it. Don't buy the cheap ones with the brass gears and they hold up fine.

Savox has been good to me. My lhs swears by them and the employees too. Can't speak about about their customer service, never used it.

Another Savox fan. Been running a Savox SW 1210SG in a very modded Wraith for many years. Still going strong. Run a Savox 1256TG in my TRX4 that was previously in a E-Maxx (Basher). Great servos.

Don't be afraid to get a servo that is not waterproofed from the factory. I just waterproof them myself, that way I can get a stronger servo. I think the waterproofed servos tend to be lower in power than the regular servos. There aren't many factory waterproofed servos either and because of that you don't pick the correct servo for your application. Your only picking it because it's waterproof not because it's strong enough for your needs. That Savox 1230SG is hard to beat. Torque: @4.8V: 417.0 oz-in @6.0V: 500 oz-in I just take the top of the servo off and pack it with grease, so water can't get in through the spindle to the green board on the bottom. Then just spray or dip in Plastidip and you are good to go. I have a video I'm almost finished editing to show how I do this. I waterproof the servos in all my rigs. Just look on youtube, there are plenty of walk throughs on there I'm sure. |

I've had 0 issues with several Savox servos. I did however have a weird Hitec that ate gears constantly. So, I'm gonna need you all to stop buying Hitec, lol! |

You can't be a newb and come on here and bash something that you might be using incorrectly particularly when it's a well liked brand. I have a handful of Savox servos that I've used in different types of racing and bashing and I've never had a failure. |
