Question A good buy???

I found a TLT for sale, $425 and it has:
Novak Crawler setup
SW2 chassis
pede trans
Moabs
Hpi wheels
JR Z590 servo
Rubicon body (unpainted)
All it needs is a TX, RX and battery to run.
I'm just curious if this sounds like a fair price.
Thanks

IMO - sounds a bit on the "hi" side with no radio gear.

I forgot to mention that everything is new. Doesn't make a huge difference, but it's nice knowing that everything isn't torn up.....
yet;)

Is it a roller or just those parts? Add up the new prices, it's a little cheaper than buying new.

666 It is a roller, I have checked prices and I would ditch the servo, so not really saving anything there.
I guess I'm just not sure about the Novak Crawler setup. I've been looking at the Z3013/Mamba Max combo, but now I have read good things about the Novak.

you also forgot to say it comes with an extra brand new not built pede trans

looks like AE T4 shocks

moabs on hpi wheels

diffs are locked

aluminum servo mounts and a wheel widener kit

and all the stock tlt parts are included

you could have pawned off the stock stuff and the extra pede trans

if i didnt just drop 500.00 into mine that isnt rtr yet i would have grabbed it up

Thanks, I didn't know about the wideners. I did mention Moabs and HPI wheels. The second pede could go in one of my other two bare SW2s sitting here. I'm still going to watch it to see if I can get a better deal.
Who knows...

TLT - 70
Novak Crawler setup - 150?
SW2 chassis - 90
pede trans - 30
Moabs - 40
Hpi wheels - 20
JR Z590 servo - ?
Rubicon body (unpainted) - 30

off just whats listed that like 430-450... not too bad.. that doesnt include links, shocks or shafts...

maybe a good deal if its all brand new.

Just my 0.2

That servo is a max of $25 and a tlt can be had for $70. Novak setup you can find for around $250. That there is $75 less than what you say. I wouldnt call people who have been here longer than you idiots...not a good way to start off.:?

It is easy to see $550-$600 invested in that rig, before shipping costs.

If I were in the market for a ARTR TLT Crawler, and could get that truck for $425, I would grab it up.

If you have the Mamba you can update it or change settings anytime you want in the comfort of your own home, while sitting around in your underwear, relaxing with a cold one while your batteries charge......and you don't have to wait for the mail man to bring it back.

As far as the TLT for sale, sounds like a good price.....but not a SUPER good deal. If you were gonna build a TLT and get nearly the same stuff anyway,it'd be worth buying.
