just like the C6 and C7 base models. it looked plain. but the later Z06 widebody and all the aero bits REALLY transformed the previous models looks. i expect the same to happen in 2021 or 22 when the Z06 is released. we got a tease of this model when they showed the C8.R |

I'm not sure I like the black trim on the air duct on the door but I see now it might just be an option to paint it black. I'm pretty impressed over all and the astronaut back story they went into before the reveal was fairly interesting too.

I came in late and probably missed half of that so maybe I didn't have to suffer as much. I was also not really to fussed to have it revealed immediately like most of the other folks watching so there was that too. I didn't know the reveal was even happening yesterday I just stumbled upon it. I guessed they summed it up saying its safe and fast. EDIT: oh and affordable unlike space travel lol Last edited by HumboldtEF; 07-19-2019 at 09:27 AM. |

I don't know, I think they did a good job keeping the basic Corvette look while re-arranging everything to fit the Mid-Rear layout.

Just like the C7, the more I see the C8 the more I like it. I'm guessing it will be even better looking in person. Looks aside, the performance claims for the dollar are impressive. |

i cant wait for this to happen for the first time in real life question now is, why is the ford GT $450,000 if a C8 Z06 is gonna be closer to the $100k mark as a guess. (2019 C7 Z06 is 80k, ZR1 is $125k) |

Is the Ford GT still hand built with custom machined parts? Facebook 'tards are at it aimlessly regurgitating that it looks like a Ferrari Modena. Such a stretch. I mean if that's true than all super cars look similar. |

when function drives the shape(design) this is inevitable. kind of like like asking 20 difference scientists from all over the world to design the most aerodynamic shape. eventually all of them will come up with some form of a rain drop. |

I still don't know if id rather buy a 520s, a R8, or this.... all three are just beautiful cars. The inside of the C8 is more appealing to me. I love the center consol.

I dig it, mostly. The interior is okay other than the ergonomic nightmare that is the giant row of buttons on the console on the far right. The exterior looks very much Corvette from a head on or 2/3 frontal shot. Very Ferrari-esque from the A pillars back on a side shot.

no way i love the P1 designed cars. ie 540-600 (have you seen one of these in person?) i do not care for the 720 styleing (headlight area) |

I would agree, I think most of the McLarens are gorgeous cars.
