I think it'll be a nice replacement for those who wanted something like a Yeti XL but got turned off by the bad design decisions that went into that truck. I've never seen the Losi 1/6s in person yet but 20 lbs is really heavy and makes me wonder if it would really hold up tumbling down hill climbs the same way my Yeti XL did. If I didn't have my Yeti now I'd probably wait until the next 10-15% off Ebay coupon to pick one of these up.

As most others not surprised that they did a Super Rock Rey. Definitely looks like a cool truck. Hopefully they improved on some of the issues found with the original RR and BR in terms of diffs tearing apart, etc. I'd love one but just don't see it in the cards. I would have to invest in more batteries for one. I also setup my RR for crawling and I've been very happy with it. It suffers in the break-over department but I generally overcome with a bit of speed when necessary, it's my go to truck for crawling. It would cost me a lot on top of the truck and batteries to do the same thing with this Super Rock Rey, let alone seeing if there is stuff on the market to make it happen. Not to particular to the bashing stuff anymore.

It's a meh for me. Actually most things larger than 1/10 are for me.

with the sbr and srr both coming with open rear diffs.. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. if you want something a bit bigger and faster than the 1/10 Baja rey, get a traxxas UDR. ive driven all 3. owned both Baja reys. the udr handles just like tha Baja rey (1/10). only crap part is.. its got traxxas on it.

I got one a few days ago. I love it but I'm not into crawling. I love bashing and this truck seems to bash well. I did break a front spindle trying to do a backflip off a ramp. I have aluminum ones coming in two days. I'm also getting an aluminum servo mount and a 1/5 scale servo. Here is the jump that broke the spindle:
