And mudflaps. Every time I see a Subaru with mudflaps I want to rip them off. There's a white POS around here with bright red mudflaps.

I would have mudflaps as a courtesy thing with tar & chipping every season, there's nothing like having a rock come flying up from 30 yards away to crack your windshield.

What's this courtesy you speak of? We don't have that "around here"!

Must be the Canadian to American English translation. "In my area"...is that better?

I like mudflaps. I like em long almost touching the ground.

I cut 2 semi truck plastic mudflaps in half to make 4 for my ranger. that was after the first run with my buddies on some decent dirt roads in the stix. kicking up rocks and dirt onto my buddies subie was not fun for the both of us.

I ended up repainting his bumper cover and hood. after I installed my mudflaps, we had less of an issue. more so, it was his car needing mudflaps to save his paint now.

they are good for snow too. keeps the salt and snow building up in the fender whell pockets and the rear part of the quarters.

rust sucks.

This is out on prime video now, at the end of episode 8.

Haven’t watched it yet myself.

Haha. More of the same! Told y’all.

I did like the last scene with the 360 spin in cab video perspective.

I loved it. I’m not sure what else you’d expect from a gymkhana video.

*edited for spoilers* A lot to like there IMO.

Shinchu it’s in 4K HDR on Amazon prime if you have the means, just something to keep in mind.

Cool, glad you liked it. I don’t know how they could be better either, other than not looking like a carbon copy cinematic production as the last. I am by no means a grumpapottimus but it is literally the same cinematography, obstacles, donuts, tire smoking stuff as the others.

Ehhh I wouldn't say that...

I've met Ken numerous times and know his rally co driver pretty well. I've been to many US rally events over the years that they have raced at. Stage rally is by far the most intense style of racing there is... and he has won many events. To see Ken and Alex in action out on the stages gives you a whole new level of respect for them.

If Ken were to dedicate his time to one area of racing, whether it be US Rally, WRC, etc... He would without a doubt be standing on a podium at the end of the season. However, when you are driving different styles of vehicles every other week, one cannot really perfect the art.

The only thing worse are the clowns in their lifted diesel trucks who drive like they are in a fast and furious movie... Go pull a trailer or pretend to be a trucker, otherwise, no one is impressed by your smoke clouds or idiotic driving. lol

So you hate people that take care of their paint, and others? You are aware that some of us Subie owners actually leave the pavement, and enjoy our cars?

Mud flaps look hideous. They look worse when they are bright red!

If you take your car off-road often that's a different story, but we know that's rare especially these days.

We have this modern invention called protective wrap that protects your car from stone chips. A lot of super car owners wrap their entire cars in the stuff. I haven't seen anybody put mud flaps on a Ferrari. I've seen a lot of vehicles come with some clear vinyl in strategic locations from the factory to protect from stone chips. And it doesn't look hideous like mud flaps!

My 4runner has both mud flaps and clear protective wrap on it from the factory.

So I have a question for the scoobie owners that seem to be on here....

Is it mandatory that if you buy a WRX/STI that you put Hella horns on it? It seems like everyone has them.

It's all subjective like everything else car related. I don't have mud flaps, but I would rock some on my car no problem. But they gotta be black. Red would look like shit, IMO too. But then again, I don't drive a Ferrari. Mud flaps on a Ferrari would indeed look hideous, but it all depends on the car for me as to whether or not mud flaps are applicable.

Have you priced that fancy schmancy protective wrap stuff? There's a reason most of the videos you see of it are super car owners.

I honestly don't understand people that buy vehicles with even light off road capability like my car, and never take them out and enjoy them. It was one of the first things I did with the car. VDC off, manual mode on for paddle shifters only, and give it your best Colin McRae impression on gravel Forest Circus roads. Along with taking it out in 8-10" of fresh powder for some playtime. That was all in the first month of ownership too. Vehicles are meant to be used and enjoyed.

For sure.

For an entire car it's crazy money. But you could apply your own in strategic places for much less - like the car manufacturers do.

I don't understand that either. There's even a guy at work here that doesn't understand when people care about cars - it's just a car.
