Sweet ive been waiting for a scout 2 body and on a redcat too now thats sweet i have a 1:1 its my expo rig it has a tiny pop up camper on it theres a 6.5 td under the hood backed by a 700r4 currently sitting on 33s its a beast simply point and shoot litteraly unstopable off road gotta love the old scouts Thanks for posting you made my day |

Sign me up for the body, I've always wanted a Scout II. Also that was an interesting company history, I never knew they were US based. |

I would have predicted a $369 to $399 price point, but it has a lot going on! Portals, metal trans gears, steel bead locks, forward motor mount, DTC, universals, licensed IH body...will be interesting fo sho. Can't say I've been this revved about a new (or any) RTR since the Venture release. Well, press kit release...got bored and lost interest waiting for that. I'm really looking forward to learning more about this, this looks promising, I had a Redcat basher truck before but it just seemed really generic but that was 10 years or so ago. This looks impressive.

I absolutely LOVE where the industry/hobby is right now. Scout bodies! Portals! No body pins! And other companies are turning it up to 11 also. Gotta love the holiday scramble!!! It's getting really hard for me to decide on a new rig! |

I was thinking last night how fortunate my timing was to have gotten into this hobby three years ago. The evolution of the industry and its offerings has been dramatic and exponentially rising since then...glad I was here to experience and benefit from it! Hard to remember already when there were two practical choices: SCX10 or Ascender!
