3d printer crawler section
 
Should there be a section for crawlers made with at least 33.3% or more 3d printed parts, i think it would be cool

I'm not on board with the 33% (too subjective) but I do believe a category for 3D parts would be very helpful to many

I did not always think this way . . . until . . . I saw the projects this guy has created - get ready to be shocked!

If anyone doesn't understand the capabilities of 3D printing and how this can be a phenomenal influence to our hobby then they should consider reading the entire thread at rcgroups --> LINK

No.
This is a RC forums, which has way too much as it is. If I want to talk 3d printing there are better venues, especially when you consider that there is nothing specialized in 3d printing rc parts.


I would like to see a sticky thread to share/show off prints/files.

All the links work for me. 3d printing opens up so many more creative possibilites and that monster truck looks great! :)

I'd like to see a section for 3D printing in general, we seem to have just one or two threads for all 3D printer stuff.

So I'd vote no for your poll but yes if it were more of a general all encompassing section.

Yup, 3D printing is becoming its own thing in our hobby and I think a thread in the 'CCrawler General Tech' section would be great.

I think it would be cool to have a 3D Printer section, but not have the 33% rule. Any thing that would help the hobby that relates to printing would he useful.

Not sure why people here would be so against it. To me it seems like having creative minds working towards making useful parts for the hobby would be appreciated. Besides, if you dont like 3D printing you do not have to go into that forum.
