Depends on what we are using it for? hauling, towing, fourwheeling, etc.etc... all have their good points and bad points. |

The answer is always different for different reasons. I'm unlucky so I say get which ever you are more comfortable working on. Every tinkerer I know has a different mind set. A chevy man just thinks different than a dodge or ford man. The Jeep man is just a confused mess of the other 3 guys combined. And the Yota guy thinks in metric.

Toyota all the way. My family's owned Fords and Chevies and they've all busted on a regular basis. I've heard and seen too many stories of Dodges having problems with their drivetrains. I've personally had to pull my share of jeeps off the trails or sit around and wait for them to fix their chit in order to continue down the trail. Toyota's on the other hand have built a stong reputation on reliability. I've owned an 85 with 275K miles, an 87 with 315K miles, a 96 tacoma and currently driving a 99 taco with 62K miles. Never had a problem with any of them. |

to broad of a question!..... I've owned pretty much everything on that list at one time or another. I liked my chevy for mudding and bashing(there is no crawling where I'm at)...the jeep was a heep of S#$T...... The f-250 for all round work and towing. I liked my forerunner till it got hit! As for the dodge, (that was short lived)....you get what you pay for! Everyone has had a problem with one of these brands and will swear they are S$%T and the others GOOD! different strokes for different folks. Last edited by NoodleSpank; 02-13-2007 at 12:22 PM. |
