Internal audit director.

Seems like a lot of RC people I meet are in mechanical related trades or IT so I'm usually the one with the weird profession.

I am proprietor for a machine shop business and a partner in an automation firm.
I do the core designing, prototype machining, tooling then if need be setting the production process which mostly involves designing and building special purpose machines. As a small scale industry owner and partner, I am always loaded with responsibilities.

Apart from the customer oriented work, I am very much interested in building a brand with my products, my manufacturing and an online and offline distribution channel across India and globally after that.

I get to play with and repair motion picture cameras and lenses. I'm a manager at Panavision. Been with them for almost 30 yrs. Started with them when I was 19. We make and rent high end digital and film cameras and lenses. The company has been around since 1954.
Not my video but this is our newest film camera which is already about 15 years old now. But still gets rented a lot. Most shows are digital now so that's pretty much what we concentrate on now. But most of your major block busters are still done on film. https://www.panavision.com/

I own a swimming pool company in the Fort Lauderdale Florida area. We do Service, Repairs, and complete remodeling of existing swimming pools. I've been doing this 28 years. I started this just after I got out of the fire academy and started paramedic school.

I continued doing swimming pool service and repairs while working for the fire department because our schedule was 24 hours on, 48 hours off. Every 3 weeks I would have 5 days off in a row. Having a swimming pool company was a great second income.

I'm now retired from the fire department. I'm only 49. Now having only one job gives me more time to drive RC trucks with my 12 year old son.
