We call them 'wheel chairs' because it doesn't take any skill to sit in a seat and pull a throttle lever. They hog the trails, and they have punched out all the single-track to 50". They don't watch where they're going, they will run you over or t-bone you. They make dust in camp, and they let their kids run them dangerously. Many of them drink and drive.

Friends don't let friends drive kwadz.
To say that you don't need skill to ride an ATV is a seriously uninformed statement. There was a pro-rider that won in both ATVs and motorcycles and he said it took much more skill to win at ATVs.

I understand there are a lot of motorcyclists that hate ATVs, but most of the shit spread around about them isn't true. The are PEOPLE that give ATVs a bad name, but blame that on the people not the equipment.

I have a 1/12 scale RC with a somewhat similar body setup, and yeah, it's on it's lid constantly.

I’m glad the Yeti Jr is coming back. Once the electronics are fixed it’s fun for small areas and for kids. I’m not crazy about the side by side body. I have yet to see a full size side by side with a solid rear axle.

I've never ended up caring for R/C releases with motors smaller than 540...

I bought a Losi Mini-Slider when they came out, about the only place you could safely run it was on a tennis court.

This picture looks stretched. And it's likely a Lexan body, so doubtful it's going to be top heavy. I found the original Jr. to be rather well planted. Fun little truck.

A little treat for the kiddos while Axial puts the finishing touches on the SMT10 re-release kit.

Right Axial?....

I wanted a Yeti Jr, but the electronics were shit. I'm hoping that this one has better electronics. I'm also hoping that they release something much less ugly on this chassis.

Once again, Tower has something up before Axial actually releases it.

Some things never change.

Interesting tire mounting scheme. That should make it impossible to do wheel swaps. (EDIT: Apparently the Yeti Jr was the same way.) It looks like the electronics are Spectrum now. Since it's an integrated esc/receiver, that should mean it's not the same as the old one.

If they release one without all the red plastics I may pick one up. I still like the look of the original Yeti Jr better tho.

Sounds like a challenge to me.

JFC. It's 2019 and they released an RC that doesn't have a lipo-safe ESC? So stupid.

Well it's Axial so...

I have to say it actually looks pretty good for as good as these golf karts can look, but the shocks are out of scale and the Can-Am Maverick has independent rear suspension. It's a definite no buy from me.

I read Hemistorm say that it has better electronics and better plastics. Definitely doesn't sound like we are getting better electronics, but...better plastics?! Is this the start of Axial getting Losi/Horizon/Vaterra plastics?!

I just don't get it. Who is this for, and what do they expect? If it's just an attempt at getting rid of old parts.... ok. Even at $150, this seems like a stretch. For $50 more, I'd just pick up a Associated CR-12

I really want to like this. I really wanted a Yeti jr. If this has better electronics (no Lipo, fine, but if it doesn't burn up after an hour, then yes, it is better) and better plastics, then why not re-release the Yeti Jr too? Maybe they will?

The aftermarket will have to save this one... if this does get an aftermarket.
