Nice! With all the new teasers from Axial, Associated, and SSD, I think we're going to have a pretty exciting couple of months.

I sort of like improvements . . . but sometimes the higher prices don't give me as much bang for the buck in terms of dollars per ounce of enjoyment . . . so to speak . . .

Sure, it seems eventually everyone will offer portals

Then there will be other improvements . . . and other types of changes . . . . . .

Ah yes . . . here comes the wagon train, some get stuck in the ditch, some race to first in line, some are creaking along with wobbling wheels, some think they are winning due to their expensive marketing . . .

meanwhile . . . I'm still having a blast with the first-gen machines I'm still abusing . . . not as often as I'd like but as often as I can . . .

I don't think much of that made much sense . . . oh well . . . crawl often, enjoy it

That was my first thought.

As I've said on other threads teasers have been relegated to lame attempts to generate hype on products that can't generate hype themselves. I'm excited for SSD's release and that's it. The others aren't going to get me excited just so I can be let down again like those brands have done many times in the past.

Maybe they should add a button to express the desire for a like button to like a given post.

i'm interested in seeing what AE has in store. Would be cool to see a scaler from them, but wondering how they are going to compete with today's scale rig competition.

I might have an idea, a 2 speed, only front locking diffs in a portal housing,rear, no locked diff with non-portal rear axle housing .

That certainly looks to be the case - I wonder about the "integrate seamlessly with the aftermarket support network already in place". Seems like it'll be cross-compatible with Axial type axles and stuff? I wonder what'll be different on the platform itself enough to justify it as a base rig over a 10.2.

TA's plastics, for me at least, have been some of the strongest. I've had a factory team RC10B4 I built probably 10+ years ago that still haven't been able to break.
