Anybody in the Milwaukee area?

So my daughter is planning to move from Mobile, AL to Milwaukee proper. I'm teetering between talking her out of it or moving with her lol.

Input for a younger family relocating to the area? Or an older man :ror:

My step brother moved there for a job and moved back to NJ after the first winter. :lmao:

That is the extent of my knowledge on life in Milwaukee.

Nothing like Wayne's world. Though I haven't been there. Do some reading on it.

There is the winter, true. I know I sure would miss the nasty, sticky nine month-long summers here ;-)

I've been checking it out, but there's nothing like personal feedback. Relocation guides for Raleigh make it look really attractive and glamorous also, but the reality is much different for a northerner like myself.

My sister lived in Lansing for years and sent me pics of 15' high snow drifts...looked like fun to me, until you have to find your car to dig it out in the AM lol.
