| Movie Plot Holes
So, the other day I was watching The Watchmen, and it occurred to me that the whole end of the movie is really one giant plot hole. At any time Dr. Manhattan could have instantly disarmed and destroyed all of the nukes in the world, making Warshak's death, and pretty much the last 30 minutes of the movie kind of pointless.

With great power come great responsibility. Are the name not Rorschach ? One of my favorite roles, also well played by Jackie Earle Haley in the movie. |

Any Star Wars Movie... In "A New Hope", why didn't the Empire just deploy some of the 7000 TIEs and other assorted craft that were onboard the Death Star. They would have laid waste to the handful of Rebel fighters in about 10 minutes. From Wookipedia: "Both Death Stars were defended by hundreds of shield projectors (including Deflection towers), and thousands of turbolasers, ion cannons and laser cannons. The first one contained a complement of seven to nine thousand TIE fighters, along with tens of thousands of support craft, bombers, and gunships." |
