Default Actual conversation at my house upon my wife's discovery of the Enduro kit

Wife: How much are you going to spend on parts to complete the kit?
Me: I'm going to use a lot of parts that I already have on hand from upgrades in the past.
Wife: You already upgraded these parts when they were on other trucks?
Me: Yes.
Wife: So, you're not going to upgrade them again?
Me: It's complicated. These trucks are always in a state of flux.
Wife: (Eyes roll so far back in her head I think she's trying to look behind her)

My wife gave up a long time ago..."Whatever makes you happy dear."

Coming up on three years into this RC truck thing, she finally picked up a transmitter when we had guests over and were crawling on our 'proving grounds' in the front yard. She looks at me after a bit and says, "This is kinda like my video game." Yes dear.
She was all excited about her new 'switch'.

Maybe your wife could call my wife and have a chat.

Chris dont tell her there is a crawling game! My boy is litterally playing MUD RUNNER on Xbox as I type this.

Also might need to hand over the barrage to my wife at proline next year.
Or... We will just bring extra wine LMAO

*also, my wife cant complain about how much I spend on trucks, as long as I use my own money. Either birthday or xmas gift cards, and mostly from selling my other hobby stuff. My hobbies are all self-sustaining

Shinchu - if you have Steam on your PC, you owe it to yourself to pick up "Pure Rock Crawling" - sweet competition crawling game for cheap!

Speaking of spending money... I'm eyeing this Sendero RTR Scratch-N-Dent special on Amain for $25 off...

(no significant other to give me the stink-eye if I jump on it, but I still have other unfinished builds, and a desire for a onroad or rally car)

Do it, and call it your substitute wheeler while you work on your other project trucks...

Haha. Men vs boys and the price of their toys!
I traded HER suv in for a new Challenger R/T.
It's the same color as the Element Enduro. And it has a V8.

My crawlers are self-funded from a side business I do, so she doesn't complain.
Besides, I spoil her rotten. Thirty years together, and she spoils me back.
