I take this as official confirmation that Tamiya will never make a serious effort in the scale trail truck scene

But now they've jumped onto the portal bandwagon. Maybe they should add those to their cc01 Unimog kit.

I think these are the same portals that were on their 6x6 Dynahead.

I will probably buy this just to put the portals on my cc01.

the dyna head is cool, imo. itd be cooler if the wb was adjustable so you could choose to run bigger tires.

Tamiya posted a video of the little thing in action.

I think Tamiya is putting their scale crawling bets on the upcoming CC-02 chassis that's being released.

Tamiya was doing trail rigs before most other companies were around. Bruiser, CC-01, etc.

This MB is awesome! Looks like a fun build.

This thing is about 20 years late to be considered "Trail" worthy I think .

Well Tamiya walks to the beat of their own drummer. They always have and always will. They don't try to compete with anybody.

SAME! I would stop making my own mini monster trucks if they would re-pop it.

Think those portals would fit the MF-01x?

Maybe i dont see where your going with that. But the only thing i can think of is the small hmmvw bodies now have a cool home. And there is a silvia and rx7 body that would be calling my name if i had the mf01x and the portals to bolt up.
