This was a private offroad park and trails we stuck to were pretty tame but really tight (like 3-4 inches of clearance in a lot of places, the public trails in the national forest a few miles away are like highways in comparison). I had not been out since getting rid of my old Jeep WJ and driving something with a nearly 2 foot longer wheelbase was an experience. Rubbed a couple trees and scraped the frame rail a time or 2 but not bad at all for a stock Tacoma. I foresee many thousands of dollars being spent on truck parts in my future.

love to see this!

Glad yall are havin a better day than i am. We started with no fuel at our pump, n now the mixer i took this mornin wont start back up. It had a eng warn lite on since we got it. Now its off n the hi water temp n low oil pressure lites are on n flashin. Itll turn over, but wont start. Ive been sittin here goin on 2 hrs n have about a yd of concrete still on the truck.

Only reason i took this one was my truck is out of fuel since the pump fuel was empty sat. N ive got a flat n slack tire on the same corner of the drive tires.

Wat a day smh

Saw that Alphacool come out with a full cover waterblock for my new GFX card, so that was instantly 140 USD i have to part with then they start to roll off the floor in a months time.
https://www.alphacool.com/shop/gpu-c...olor-red-devil

And i better get that 236 USD case and start modding soon too.

Otherwise i have done squat other than visit my dear old sick mother, as the good son i am.
O and record a hyper lapse video as my Osmo action camera got hyperlapse in its last FW update.
And that make the 40 or so minute drive home from moms place shrink down to 2.5 minutes of tearing thru rural parts of Denmark, and past where the famous Grundfoss pumps are made.

After a long couple of months of nothing but moving out of our old house and into our new one, I finally took some time to hit the new backyard with some little trucks! My buddy and I crawled for just short of an hour with lots of idle time while haphazardly building some makeshift trails and pruning back some of the overgrowth. Was a blast and I have to say that I think the backyard/ water garden holds some serious potential for the smaller rigs and maybe even 1/10... we'll see. Anyway, Just felt good to be a kid again with all the stress and exhaustive work recently.

And after finding an elephant buried in the dirt, my buddy referred to this as the Serengeti Adventure lol.

Haha well the yard is still pretty overgrown so it's not out of the realm of possibility that there are real elephants lurking out there too!

My oldest kid, 15yo, is in the school marching band. Her band hosted a big contest for surrounding schools and I got volunteered to help on the grill for burgers, sausage, and hot dogs. Over 200 burgers, 100+ hotdogs, and at least 80+ sausages we got rained out the last 2 hours. They were guesstimating them done when I first got on the scene. “Aw, naw.” I had done this last year as well. Heat on 340-370*, flip burgers from 8-10 minutes and stay for 15-17 total. Hotdogs and sausage-roll them around for 20 minutes every 7 or so. Easy peasy once you wrap your head around it.

I got out for a MTB ride for the first time in months. Weather looked ominous the whole day, but it never rained, and the trails were bone dry. It did keep the temps down though, which was nice. It was good to get out, it's been way too long.

Bent and installed. Need to make a few tiny adjustments, but otherwise came out good.

Nice! I went for a great ride this week to get one more in before the snow. Its so fun. Hoping this snow melts, I don't feel ready to call it a season.

So at 3PM yesterday, we hit 99deg - broke a record or somethin...

Today, on the other hand - we were roughly HALF that in the afternoon!

Made me very happy, as it was the first day of my 2 days off in a row - which (due to rotating schedule bids, etc) I have not had for close to a year.

Previously my days off were split, had to work a day in between.

Was so aggravated at all my recent procrastination that I removed the unpainted utility bed from the Sendero and bolted on the stock bed, flipped a GS02 front bumper upside down and mounted it in the back.

Jumped in my car, and headed down to my pal Miatardo's house - where he proceeded to be super cool and knock out all the soldering I've been avoiding doing.

My soldering is atrocious - 'nuff said there!

Now, I have multiple motor/ESC combos ready to drop in and I am very stoked...

We busted out his old Losi buggy and he disassembled most of the back end, chasing down an annoying notchiness that turned out to be in the motor and not the transmission (thankfully).

It was drizzling and very windy all day, and could not have been better for sitting in a closed garage, working on R/C vehicles - tested out the Enduro, too!

Tomorrow he's busy - but I'm goin' crawlin' for the first time in ages - Enduro will be stock except for bumpers, wheels, and tires - I've had it since July 31 and it still hasn't been powered up outdoors...

Yep, durok... the cold front came thru here around 5am. Could've used some more rain but the temp change was very welcome. Today it was time to fire up the crock-pot and have a decent meal for a change... beef-stew and garlic bread. Really hit the spot!
