Well, finally got to go get lil b today. Its been sittin in the shop since march gettin new bushings n a 2.5" lift. Wish id went 4" lift instead, but o well. They told me the passenger side pivot point was messed up. I knew the bushing was gone, but shane told me he had to put 2 sleeves in it to put the bushing in.

He woulda had it done back in march, but i had to order some extra parts, which didnt get there til june. So whilst waitin on my parts he had to keep his boss mans loggin equip up n goin, which in turn also held up progress on my truck. Even after it took so long to get it back, im very pleased with the work done. He even threw a set of shocks on the rear at no extra cost!

Heres some pics. 1st three are before it went to the shop. The other 2 are from today. N yes i know the pass side stack is leanin lol. I need to trim the exhaust a lil since i put glass packs on it

Went out and beat on El Chivo for a few hours. Decided the 2.2's were just too big soni swapped .225 hubs on my krawlers and skinnied her up a touch.

Since my Capra is done,went down to work and painted a body for my Slash drag car.

Ran in a class 2 comp this morning and had a lot of fun. The course was tough and even claimed a few rigs.

I finally took time to clean up my bench! I added a 5-tier shelf I picked up at Menards to the right of the bench to give me a place to park some of my rigs and also a place to put my AE scale garage. I added a couple LED cabinet lights under the shelves to illuminate my rigs.

I also needed a place for my drill press. I got tired of not having a place for it and moving it to the workbench every time I needed to use it.

Now that it is clean, I have room to build my next project...the Axial Capra!

Thanks topher, shes good wen she wants to be. Kinda tickd me off sunday smh. I was helpn the wife clean house n as i was moppin the floor, sage tryd to get the swiffer thing. After watchn me mop the floor, she lookd at me n peed right where i had just mopped.

White-trash, dont feel bad my friend, my wife already had the idea in her head wen we went n picked sage out. She had a pug that she put clothes on before we got together lol.


As for wat i done today... I got to clean concrete dust off a set of aluminum 22.5 bud wheels. I know, youre not supposed to use a wire wheel on aluminum, but i did. I used a regular wire wheel with a grinder, then used a aluminum wire wheel n went back over them n they looked better. Sprayed them with white lightning aluminum acid. They turned out pretty good. First pic is before, 2nd pic is after the wire wheels, n 3rd is after acid washin.

Then i snuck my tail to GA n got a load of flyash n snuck back across the line lol. N changed a few tires to kill time the rest of the day

Went racing yesterday, carved pumpkins today.

Need to figure out if its the tires or the setup.. It has traction going straight, but i cant get on the throttle at the apex.

I need actual carving tools to do a better job on these pumpkins.

Went out for a few more hours with El chivo and took my class 3 too. First trip with the class 3 on 2.2 hyrax in predator and I'll say them tires are staying. In the 35* morning they were pulling lines using their sidewalls and staying planted. I'm going to narrow them up and put them on some narrower, lighter wheels but I'm happy with their performance.

Why carve at all?

I learned that just cuz your computer can run 3600 mhz on 32GB of RAM. that do not mean it can do it too on 48 or the 64 GB that are my target.

So Bios kicked me back to the default of the CPU, and i have now turned that up to 2800 mhz and i will keep tweaking this to get the MAX out of my RAM too.
My CPU are at +500 mhz / 4 ghz, and i will probably leave that there as it is within spec on any game i know off ( and cant play as modern games are stupid )

Things changed a lot since i did OC last

O and today and the past week or so i have been able to fall asleep without lying awake in the bad for 8 - 10 hours, so instead of falling asleep around 8 - 9 in the morning and then wake up at noon, i am now at a much better place where i can fall asleep at once around midnight and then wake up around 5-6 in the morning,,,,,,, almost like when i was working.

But i know this will just last a few weeks, as that have been the norm since 2013
