A coworker of mine just said that it looks like a Pontiac Aztek that was run through a knife sharpener.

I kinda like it. Its ugly, sure but very different. The form is aero styled and probably fairly efficient, I would be curious to see its Coefficient of Drag. The numbers are impressive as well.

I don't see how it will fulfill the jobs performed by current trucks. I can't picture a pipe rack on the back with 10 ladders stacked on it and a bed full of paint cans, lol. As far as regular consumers go, a truck is a "lifestyle vehicle" more so now than it has ever been and those are purchased based on personal preference and subjective appeal, not utilitarian practicality. While this may have some innovative features (we don't know because Musk didn't really explain anything innovative except the outside is marginally tough), it is certainly not appealing in the looks department to the majority of the population which is going to make it a hard sell. |

See plenty of light ICE motivated trucks that aren't used like that either

I can picture Charlie Sheen stepping out of that in the 80s movie The Wraith.

Elon Musk has lost his mind. At least now Tesla looks match the quality and range - total shit. And Tesla already has the ugliest vehicles on the road. |

Well if they decide to make a body of it, it will be the cheapest RC body mold ever That car over here will be 2 X of the US price, if not more and some dumb ass will still buy it. |

Well, that would be one way to make an accurate Slash 4x4 trail rig, get the brushed model, throw a Titan 21t or something comparable in it then gear it accordingly, set the roling stock, suspension and diffs up like like in some of the Telluride trail trucks on here, then slap that a Cybertruck body on it and go hit some trails!

cut range by roughly 40% towing max weight. max options costs way more than comparable trucks. 0-60 will only impress the uber rich performance based suv owners. the good news is its ugly as sin. |

I despise it, and would take a Bollinger B1 or B2 any day over it - equipped with a 120 kWh battery pack—which delivers 614 hp and 688 lb-ft of torque—dual motors, hydropneumatic suspension, and in-wheel portal gear hubs. Basically, they’re all-electric, all-aluminum, all-wheel brutes with a ton of power. New accessories announced for them recently: |

I saw this in person yesterday. Very minimalist and robust! They had the bronco looking body on display. Loved it! Very cool design. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
