The all wheel drive electric rig weighs more than althe F150 that it pulled while the F150 smoked the tires in 2 wheel drive no less, that's totally impressive

With the exception of the original Roadster, Tesla $u¢k$. No matter how much money I had, is NEVER want a Tesla (and, yes, I've driven them). I've been to the Tesla factory (several times, due to a few of my clients), and I would have rather been almost anywhere else.

It looks like it came from an early 1980's movie set in the future.

Haters are gonna hate no matter what.

It's got no practical use for me based on range, last month I put 15,000km on my Ram 1500, just can't do that with an electric but I definitely support any new ideas.

They could have. All that demonstrated was that a heavier truck can drag a lighter one.

What happened to the kid drawn picture?

Re: What y'all think about teslas new truck?

I applaud Tesla's innovation, but that is an ugly truck, no thanks. :ror:

AWD Tesla truck should be pulling against an AWD/4 wheel drive Ford to be fair and they should weigh close the the same, otherwise heavier truck has the advantage. :)

Drawn picture probably deleted due to COPPA bs worries, search it, Harley has a great vlog about it.

Re: What y'all think about teslas new truck?

The only plus I see here is with this simple design surely they can finally get some decent panel gaps lol (they've been noted as having quite poor fit and finish)

Or if this brings back the square styling trend (just not this ugly)

Why yes it does and the release date for the Cybertruck did coincide with "Blade Runner day" on purpose, Elon is a big fan of the movie. Blade runner day was the day the movie took place on.

Re: What y'all think about teslas new truck?

I've ridden in Teslas before and never saw any poor fit/finish, but I've heard some people complain on the interwebs. :ror: Not saying there isn't any, just not seen it first-hand. :)

Oh ya the original Roadster is the only one that I'd be interested in, with upgraded motor/batteries since it's a few years old technology now.

Re: What y'all think about teslas new truck?

Yeah I've been in one as well but havent seen it myself, just heard it online form automotive journalists. I think their gripe was if its positioning itself as a luxury car is needs to do much better in this area.

Re: What y'all think about teslas new truck?

I think it looks ugly, like the guy drawing it out on Sketch-Up got lazy.

People are making a big deal over the bullet-proof glass thing. To me, it looks like the ballistic glass did exactly what it was supposed to, shatter, dissipate the energy, but don’t go through.

If you are impressed with the Tesla pulling the Ford, you need a lesson in elementary physics. It will be impressive if the Tesla truck can pull the new electric F-150 in the same manner.
