Because of all the issues my late Mom had, we have an oxygen reader, blood pressure cuff, temporal thermomiter that have just been laying around until the last few days. My BP was ok this morning even if my HR was elevated, blood oxygen started out sketchy and got up to minimum acceptable. Didn't get on the phone at all yesterday and managed to make it 2 calls before bowing out today since my head was just spinning when I got on. Right now I can barely make it around this house without losing my breath at this point. Right now the Dr is treating it as though I have bronchitis (which this feels like) but has said that if things get worse, I need to get to the hosital........which is the same one the Blood Pressure meds put me in for a Nuclear Stress Test last May....

Is it normal for bronchitis to come with a fever? I didn’t think so. I’d keep a close eye on your temps and don’t hesitate to go to the hospital if your SpO2 drops into the danger zone. I’m not a doctor, but I married one.

I was hospitalized for asthma a lot as a kid, outgrew it during puberty thankfully. But I still have lung issues if I do happen to catch a nasty bug.

So far, our family has been able to avoid the virus, but my wife works at one of the largest Boston hospitals, so it’s probably only a matter of time...

I hope things work out for you.

i have been absent from here lately, not that anybody noticed or cared, but i've been having some time of work the last couples of weeks since this corona crap started here in Honduras, i've been servicing all my rc cars, drones and even my slot car track, also i have been spending a lot of time with my kids (this is great). Things are starting to get real down here, not because of the pandemic , but because of the poor people that dont have anything to eat going into our third week of shut down bussines. Hope someone finds a solution as soon as possible. I hope you guys stay safe.

Most genuine support to those that are showing symptoms. And another "Stay safe" to everyone here on RCC and their loved ones.

And on a semi-related note, today I saw my wife in just her under-things and a surgical mask... gotta say, I may have a new "hobby"!

If you look around, I'm sure there's a few black gospel churches like that. They are a lot of fun and their music is unbelievable.

Thanks, temps have stabilized, but my SpO2 has been between 89 and 91 all day and since 8pm or so last night. I have been on the phone today for work and since I just sit on my ass and type, it hasn't been as bad as it could be......

Me either. I just can’t get behind some religion that seems even feasibly possible. I do love listening to hours of AronRa, Viced Rhino, and a few other extremely sharp witted and smart atheists on YouTube though. Dillahunty, Hitchens, Dawkins, on and on. But this topic could be another whole thread. It’s bound to get this one off topic lol.

I just found out yesterday that a close friend of mine has been sick with the Coronavirus for the last week. He's on the back end of it now. Said he feels back to normal. He said he felt like he had the flu. He's getting tested again today to see if he's negative so he can go back to work as he works at our City's Police Department. He was the first officer to come down with it. His wife had it as well, but both of his teenage daughter's did not.

Sad to hear that your friend got the virus, but sounds like he is on his way to kicking the virus in the a$$!

I’ve been seeing in the news lately that a lot of police officers have been getting sick with it. I hate to hear and see this. Where would we be without our great police officers.

I hope he and his wife make a full recovery!
