The Mercedes isn't bad looking. Definitely better looking than the new Ranger, but since it's mostly a Nissan I wouldn't touch it anyway.

I might use it in snow, but we don't get that anymore. Can't think of any other reason I'd want or need it. The problem, as rkj said, is that they're almost always bundled into some overpriced, "off-road" package.

i need to check but i think my e-locker unlocks over 30mph.

another reason i need the forscan tool so i can disable that among other e-nannies that robbed my abilities to do dirt donuts on that trip where the pic was taken.
even with "traction control OFF" it still shut down after about 3/4 of the way to a full donut. if i were the type to get embarrassed, i would have been.

in other news another buddy of mine who has a pilot just bought a 3500 lbs geo pro 21BH trailer. i looked up the max towing of a pilot (my wife has one too and i instantly thought NO WAY) and sure enough it maxes out at 3500. i haven't had the heart to tell my buddy his RV salesman could also sell iceboxes to Alaskans.

For the occasional rip, usually pulling a fuse (often one related to ABS) will light up your dashboard, and disable traction and stability control systems.

Forscan? That name is too close to something much more personal...maybe even the same thing just said with an accent! Is it just me and my dirty mind?

An interesting recent conversation with a friend in the auto industry in Detroit tells a story of how Ferd used the corona virus as an excuse to delay the press release when the true story is that a chinese vendor royally messed some parts needed for assembling the new vehicle and can't get the new parts until mid June at the earliest.

2021 Bronco Reveal at 5:00 PST

I'm exited to see and hear about this thing, seems very promising they didn't water it down too much.

I'm liking that 2 door. The Sport looks like a real POS.

Glad you posted this. Interesting. Same concept as New Defender. But looks coller and will sell better here I bet. The short wheelbase looks like a lot of fun!

The 2 door is very, very tempting!

Motor Trend just released this too which is a nice rundown on the basics

I’ll be honest, I’m solidly in the “IDGAF” Zone on this one, only slightly warmer on the 392 in the Wrangler, TBH.
