I’m kinda in that bracket, although more reader than poster(as evidenced by incredibly low post total...). I never did much in the way of fabrication or customization, just built the SCX-10’s out of the box & threw some odds & ends on them. So no build threads or anything, just marveled at what others managed to create.

I still check in semi regularly, just to Chit Chat. My RC days are currently gathering dust on the shelf.

I was curious....

Seeing some more familiar names pop up was definitely a good thing.

I'll say this crawling as a whole sure had changed a lot and yet stayed the same......I miss my moabs and tlt axles......LOL

.

I would be impressed if Dirk Digler shows up with his TXT-1 again. That rig is what got me started. And KonaJoe's too.

Are people still cutting and shutting tires?

.

Not long ago the 1.9 Wraith briefly brought him out to play, but he has since been somewhere other than here

Surprisingly, yes. There are a few people still doing it. They pop up once and a while on here and social media. It's usually the comp guys.

KonaJoe had some really great chassis builds, was always fun going up and comping with him the guys.

Like a few of the others, I've been on High 8 us...

I miss crawling,,,,, I think I miss machining and fabbing parts just as much as I do the crawling. lol

I show up not signed in mostly for the Chit Chat.... Love checking out the funny pics threads, etc. House remodeling has taken up a lot of my time when I'm not working endless hours or taking care of my aging folks.

I ended up selling all my rigs, and eventually sold off all my machining equipment and tooling. Some guy I sold to before bought all my left over parts and MOA rigs. The one I miss the most was the dual steering MOA 2.2 crawler I built for the daughter. She's now on track to be a chiropractor, so maybe after we setup shop in Utah, I'll get back to crawling again.
