For ****s sake man! Where the hell are you getting your facts from? CNN? You are truly showing how ****ing intolerant the so-called “tolerant” left is. Also, you’re saying that joe Biden would be a better president? Really? He is ****ing senile! You must be some 60s burnout hippie-lefty or something because you sure have the mental capacity of one. Thanks for being a part of the system that will destroy this country like many others before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Those who think Creepy Joe the racist pervert can run the country better, man you people are hopeless. I bet the guy forgets to do the 2 essential things before taking a dump, pull his pants down, and sit on the toilet. I don’t give a rat’s ass if people like or don’t like Trump. It’s refreshing to have a president who has the balls to no longer allow us to get raped by every other country out there, along with past “leaders” of our own. I’d much rather see our country crumble to pieces believing in something than roll over and take it in the rear and flush my pride down the toilet, but obviously, that’s where you and I differ and I’m fine with that.

I know one thing... We've got the far left, and the far right. If you try to be somewhere in that middle area now you're racist. Go figure. Politics suck. |

First, no, I have not been "lurking, checking what people have said...but, I did come back to share two final things. First, a HUGE part of the problem in this country is that the Republicans REFUSE to work with the Democrats, and the Democrats REFUSE to work with the Republicans. The thing is, they're NOT supposed to be working for their own financial gain, for their own agenda, or die the financial gain of those supporting them - they are SUPPOSED to be working for "The People". BOTH sides seem to have completely forgotten this PRIMARY PURPOSE of the government. The Preamble to The Constitution starts out, "We, The People..." One solution that would force Democrats & Republicans to work together would be for Presidential & Gubernatorial candidates to NOT select a running mate. Whoever wins becomes President & Governor.. w whoever comes in second becomes Vice President & Lieutenant Governor. BOTH would have to be in agreement with each other to move forward with things that affect the entire counter. Also, get rid of the Electoral College, and allowing "The People's" vote to be the deciding factor, as there is WAY too much possibility for the votes of Electoral College members to be 'purchased'. Second, proper hopper (someone in the OSE forum) shared a video that, quite honestly, explains the problem with both sides. Watch the video, and have your "daily laugh. And, treat me, you can't help but laugh...well, unless you have no sense of humor. https://youtu.be/yN2y-p-vM4k ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

I’m not so keen on your president-governor though. What would be the point to them being president and governor? They would control both state...all 50...and federal? Maybe I’m just not understanding. They can’t possibly control that much...

I grew up in a conservative family. Dad raised cattle, baled hay, built barns, regularly used firearms, and consistently provided all necessities for his family. He also put on a suit & tie five days a week and commuted to the big city where he worked as a biochemical editor. He was a selfless man who put family first and always remained selfless and humble. He was a man of physical and mental strength and I still miss his guidance to this day. Aside from some years that I traveled the US and was quite a rebel and a Hell-raiser, I eventually reverted back to the ideals that both my parents worked so tirelessly to instill upon my sister and I. Because of my upbringing, I also went to work early in life and I eventually began to invest my savings in order to maintain my independence and make a decent life for myself... adopting the conservative values of my parents as I became older. Once I had some financial stability, I began educating myself about business and money management. I considered myself to be a responsible conservative American and subsequently voted accordingly. When Obama ran for President, I had some major concerns about his principles and what subsequently might happen to all that I had worked for and so I again cast my vote. I didn't support nor agree with some of his decisions but I continued to act in the best interest of my financial stability and accept the new leadership. But I also began to realize that the POTUS wasn't responsible nor necessarily to blame for what happened to me or to my money. I felt that it was my responsibility to adapt to new administrations and new policies and to continue looking out for my interests. And things continued just fine. There were some bumps here and there ( especially amidst the '07-08 economic downturn) and there were certainly things that I didn't agree with, nor support throughout all administrations. But overall, my quality of life and my interests went mostly unaffected long term. By the time that Hillary was running, the choice was quite obvious. There was no way that I could in good conscience vote for her. My main concerns in the US at that point, were illegal immigration, the economy, and health care. Trump gave me an uneasy feeling due to his lack of political background but in my opinion it was no contest between the two. He was a businessman and seemed to have a genuine enthusiasm for creating American jobs and stimulating the economy. I won't go into all of the things that have left me realizing that Trump is no longer worthy of my vote but suffice it to say that I just can't support anyone who deceives and manipulates the American people to the degree of what he has. There's far too much evidence of this and there's no need to try to rehash that here. Every President deserves some degree of criticism for various reasons but never in my life have I ever witnessed such consistent incoherency, vindictiveness, lack of integrity, and blatant dishonesty. I wouldn't validate anyone in any manner that repeatedly lied to me face to face so obviously I cannot continue any support of this president. What genuinely matters to me these days, is the true character of the people that are in my life... that they are decent and trustworthy. That's something that took me some years to come to terms with but I can't dismiss it. My best friend is a die-hard conservative and my sister and another good friend of mine are liberals. And we've all had our share of disagreements and arguments.. mainly due to their lack of comprehension on certain topics as well as an unwillingness to educate themselves about issues that they all would instead rather quote out of context or regurgitate without substantiation. These people are all true-blue friends/ family and in the end, that's what's sincerely important to me... despite any of their political affiliations or interpretations of particular politicized topics. I mainly get my news from the Associated Press and Reuters. Fox and CNN are too biased for me to rely upon without a great deal of scrutiny and I find that many of their stories are skewed, speculative, or taken out of context. I will however say that the most toxic, inaccurate, and intellectually compromised source of "news" today is without a doubt, social-media. Social-media has propagated some of the most juvenile and ignorant behavior that I've ever seen in my life. The name-calling and blanketed assumptions honestly don't help to bolster or legitimize any "cause" that these folks are fighting for or against. It only serves to make these delusional and malicious people appear as overly-sensitive, illogical, and paranoid. The truly sad result of social-media that despite the misinformation and pointlessly malicious remarks is that without the validation from other like-minded folks, this venomous hatred would never be reciprocated so widely. Projecting so much contempt without validation is certainly a sobering and sad statement to make about oneself. But nowadays, that embarrassingly hateful behavior garners high-fives from virtual face-book friends and IG followers. I'm not at all surprised that this is what has become of the US and while every country has its share of selfish, deluded ideas, America's quotient of them seems staggering in comparison. So many Americans seem to actually revel in their anti-intellectualism as if it's something to be proud of because they believe that education only leads to being preyed upon by the evils of a progressive society. These people are so impassioned in these notions that they're willing to shoot themselves in their own foot if they think that such an act will "own the libtards." Hell, the American evangelical lobby has placed on their pedestal a man who represents everything they should by all accounts despise... Quite the hypocrisy. Once upon a time, I thought that the intolerance and outright general shitty behavior among Americans were aberrations... the death rattle of a dying ideology. But by how much traction those notions seem to be gaining, I just don't see it that way anymore. I thought that they were simply being brought to the forefront because Trump was setting the tone of the discussion, but the sheer number of lunatics willing to take his every verbal excrement as gospel at this point, is simply disgusting and depressing. This time, I vote with my heart and my conscience so this time, I simply cannot vote for Trump. |
