Building my own Rock to Crawl at home. Built up a general base to start with. 3ft high, 4ft wide and 6ft longish. 50lbs of Concrete for the first stage, It did not go as far has I thought it would. Building a climbing side and a trailing side. When I'm done, I'm hoping it will look like one Huge Rock. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/membe...4660-68882.jpg http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/membe...4660-68881.jpg http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/membe...4660-68884.jpg Still trying to plan ahead and not make it too easy. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/membe...4660-68883.jpg |
Re: Building my own Rock to Crawl at home. You can get free dirt quite often, why build on wood? Make piles of dirt, carce them into a rock shape, and put concrete on that. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk |

Re: Building my own Rock to Crawl at home. For something that small, I would make the whole thing out of paper mache and some if that sandstone in the rattle can. Light, cheap, mobile! |

Good Idea. Now that I got the base going, Getting some dirt and rock will help give it a more natural shape. My room is limited. Thanks. |
