Default RIP Dusty Hill

Damn, just read this, another legend gone. I saw ZZ Top twice in concert, both were awesome shows.

RIP Dusty Hill.

Oh now that sucks, I had just heard he had been having reoccurring hip problems after a fall and wasn't going to be able to tour this year, hope that had nothing to do with it.

Met Joey back in 99' as Slipknot was starting to hit it big. Friend of mine was a promoter for them and other up and comers of that era. Joey was super cool, one of the few people I ever bothered getting an autograph from as he was just so humble.

Dusty I met multiple times, mostly at Rockets' games where our seats were right above his. He was also a super nice guy, very humble and would conversate freely. I love ZZ Top as well, just a awesome sound that while dominated by Billy isn't going to be the same without Dusty. I was actually looking forward to seeing them in December, and I could care less about live concerts anymore, but I love ZZ Top anytime, anyplace.

I was not aware of Biz dying, one of those I grew up listening to.

Hate to see them all go.
