Default Venom Batteries in Ch7

Was chatting with a new guy at work today, the topic of RCs came up and he asked if I had heard of Venom Batteries, of course I had. Said that he used to work there and got laid off a week before Thanksgiving. It looks like the company went into Ch 7 last week and will more or less dissolve.

Normally, I would take this as a bad omen, but the new guy said the owner more or less walked away from the company. He also said they had inked several big deals for batteries, non-RC related, and he was ramping up production lines when he got his notice. But, who really knows.

The long and the short of it is that there is one less battery option for us to choose from. This is good for other pack manufactures and companies with their own store brands, but rarely has an upside for us consumers.

Venom Power also has Atomik RC parts under their umbrella, I actually found nice aluminum Vaterra Ascender shock towers for my K10 a while back - haven't installed them yet...

Just checked the website - looks like basically every Atomik part is out of stock, maybe a sign as well.

If anyone is interested.

I knew they were getting out of the RC business for a while now, didn’t realize the whole company was in that shape.

Really great charger. ... It can charge up to 7 amps without problems, which is what I use all the time when charging multiple Lipo batteries connected to the balance board. I also use it to charge some halo batteries for my rc truck, sometimes look at https://www.sunsigns.org/earthworm-a...lism-meanings/ . Great product and didn't let me down.

That has nothing to do with Venom - just an Ascender mods video.
