I checked the fuses, all good, so my problem is somewhere in the wires, anyone know of anything else to check before i spaz.????? |

| First you need to find a volt meter. Next test the yellow wire with the vehicle on or off and make sure it has at least 12 volts. Next test red wire with the vehicle off and make sure it has no power. then turn the key on and make sure there is 12 volts. Make sure you black wire has a good ground, you can just take it strait to bare metal if it isn't already. Just hook those wires up only, leave the speaker wires off to test it. That will take care of it. Josh |

| The wires are smoked. Its a 93 dakota, using the "factory" harness and an adaptor. The yellow wire has no power at all, same with the red. Fuses are all good, even swapped in a new one. So im gussing i have a short somewhere between the fusebox, and the end of the harness. |
