Default TLT Coming Back

So I talked to my LHS today and I went in there planning to buy a TLT they have, well it was sold when I got there. They said we'll just order some more.
I told 'em don;t you know their discontinued? and they didn't. To make a long story short, they called up Hobby people for me and Hobby people called Tamiya I guess and apparently the TLT will come back into production in about a year, most likley a few things changed. Thought I'd let you guys know what I know.

I thought it was known quite a while ago that it wasn't really gone...
don't feel like searching for the topic but I know there was one. People were buying them in bulk, and then felt like fools when it came back 'un-discontinued'

yeah, well a friend of mine has a friend who met someone who's cousin dated a guy was at a hobby shop the other day asking about tlt's.....
sounds like a bunch of run around, tamiyausa right now has them as disco'd, i doubt if someone that answers the phone is going to know in a year the tlt will be released again, or a re-release which would involve tamiya corporation which he definately would not know. further more i doubt hobby people is going to call tamiya usa to ask if a item is disco'd thats plainly marked as disco'd on their website. it may not be gone, but the days of $70 tlt's are, or atleast short lived, probably under 100 even are close to an end.

I've got 6 TLT's NIB in my garage. $200 each.

I think Jason has 20 NIB that he would sell for $300 each.

Now my price looks pretty good doesn't it.

How do you figure RTR? Have you ever seen a New TLT sold RTR? No.

Are you a nor-cal crawler?

I wish I had money. I hate being poor because I know when I finally get the money for one of these, it'll probably be gone.

I just found this..

There is no such thing as a RTR TLT. I can write RTR on the box with a sharpy if you want.

I know where Santa Rosa is, my brother used to live there.

There is no registry on the Nor-Cal site. What did you want to do on it that made you think you need to register.
