That is an alcohol burning engine there, you can tell by the surging idle. Is it a dedicated drag car? I have never seen a serious drag car ever flogged like that before. That was crazy and rediculous all at the same time. Must have chewed the track up a lot as well.

Not tring to start nothing but i do believe that surging idlw is because of the huge injector hood blower Nitro methane engines idle like that also.

the 350 my uncle built surged just llike that on 110 race fuel, wild cam+blower= bald tires

you're idle throbbing is due to the cam and really high compression ratio. I was hoping that another car would line up against it:-(

That makes me wanna go out and flog my truck in the icy street! My last jet boat had a blown 502 in it and surged like that when it was running rich,after jetting it it had a rough idle but no massive surge.Cool vid
