Default Another one down

Well After I blew out my Maxx tranny I pulled out my modified Rusty with a 2 speed ran great all day till the end (about 3 hours of funning). I was playing in the snow with chains when it lt loose. There was no loud noise or anything just a sudden loss of power and what I thought was a flame out. Well again it was more than I thought

Nope just that I put a 4-Tec 2 speed on my Rusty. I might have to go with a modded mill though.

I think it was worth my time to build it. It was not a hard conversion to do. I took a the main input shaft off of a 4-Tec, took off the belt drive to the front wheels, the belt drive for the rear and replaced it with the input gear of the Rusty. To replace the belt drive for the gear drive you have to drive out the pin and replace the pin with the gear. where the front drive was I placed a airplane wheel stop to hold the gear on. I also had to make a custom engine mount for it as well out of 1/4" plate aluminum. the clutch bell is from the 4-Tec as well. The brake was the easy part as it mounts the same way on both vehicles. Just the parts swapping took about 3 hours, over all time to think it out took about a day or so.
